Switching providers on the same network
If you are staying on the same underlying infrastructure, the transfer can often be completed in just a few days, sometimes with no engineer visit required at all.
New full fibre (FTTP) installation
If full fibre infrastructure already passes your property, a new installation typically takes 5-14 days. An engineer needs to physically connect your property to the network and install the ONT box on your wall. If significant new infrastructure is needed, lead times can extend to several weeks.

Most Pop Telecom customers are fully connected within 14 days of placing their order. We book a specific engineer appointment at a time that suits you and keep you informed at every stage.
What if my installation is delayed?
Most reputable providers will keep you informed if there is a delay and rebook engineer appointments promptly. Pop Telecom proactively communicates any change to your installation date. Always ask for a written confirmation of any new date so you have a clear record.
